Qualifications: Multiple Subjects Credential Single Subject Credential in English CLAD Certificate Masters in Education
This course will focus on nonfiction and literature, critical reading, essays, the writing process, and an introduction to academic research fundamentals. Students will construct a variety of academic essays with careful consideration of audience, purpose, tone and appropriate rhetorical mode. Literature and nonfiction texts will be studied within the context of a writing-based curriculum that will help students think and write critically.
