Welcome to Shivela Mathematics. We are here to help you succeed in your mathematics journey and prepare you for high school. Middle school is the perfect time to learn how to be a student; come prepared for class, do your homework, study for tests, and learn how to better prepare for life ahead of you.
To be successful in my class, please come to class with the following supplies:
- pencils (bring extra lead or bring a personal sharpener for wood pencils)
- highlighters
- different colored pens for note-taking
- basic calculator (2nd semester for 7th grade)
- glue stick
For Math 7 - Students will be provided with a consumable for Semester 1 and another consumable for Semester 2. The first one is free, but if students lose or damage their copy, they will need to purchase a replacement from the bookkeeper's office.
Accelerated 7th & Math 8 - College ruled single subject notebook with at least 100 pages (sturdy covers like 5-star, stellar or office depot are perfect). Please also have a scientific calculator to use throughout the year
My Canvas Link will be updated almost daily with homework and class notes in case you are absent. You can also view this at anytime for student resources, links, and grades.
