Hello Parents and Guardians!
I have been teaching at Shivela Middle School since 2007. I love working with middle school students as they transition to young adulthood. I want students to leave my classes feeling prepared for the next year not only academically but also emotionally.
In social studies class and language arts class I want students to know that improvement is always the goal. Whether it’s writing an essay, analyzing a primary source, or creating a one pager about Aristotle, I hope that students are always focusing on improvement not perfection.
Students should come to class each day prepared to learn. Important supplies they need are their planners, a green composition notebook for language arts and a purple composition notebook for social studies.
