Patty Edmisten- 6th Grade ~ Counselor
Mrs. Edmisten received an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a second Associates of Arts in General Studies from Palomar Community College, a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development with an emphasizes in English, and Masters of Arts in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Mrs. Edmisten has previously worked as an elementary school counselor in several of our elementary schools in Murrieta, including Rail Ranch, Antelope Hills, and Cole Canyon.

Luke English - 7th Grade ~ Counselor
Mr. English received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, CA and his Masters of Arts in Education and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Mr. English also possesses his Pupil Personnel Credential and is working towards his LPCC (License Professional Clinical Counselor). He has worked as a classroom substitute teacher for Murrieta Valley Unified School District, and as a Counselor for Mt. San Jacinto College.

Dr. Sharon Tucker - 8th Grade ~ Counselor
Mrs. Tucker received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego and her Master's degree in Educational Counseling from the California State University at Dominguez Hills. Mrs. Tucker also possesses her Multi Subject Teaching Credential, her Pupil Personnel Service Credential and LPCC (licensed professional clinical counselor). She has worked in the Murrieta Valley School District for the past 22 years. She has served as an elementary school teacher, an elementary school counselor, and a middle school counselor.

Debra Kimble - Counselor
Debra Kimble has worked for the Murrieta Valley Unified School District since 2016, originally as a substitute teacher, and has been a school counselor in the since 2022. She completed her Associate of Arts degree at Cypress Community College and then transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a concentration in counseling. After working for a handful of years as an Outreach Counselor at the Youth Service Center of Riverside, she quit working outside her home for several years, raising her young children and volunteering at their schools and within the community. In 2021 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University and holds a PPS credential.
